Is your DAS vendor prepared to support the new XML EDR reporting format?
XML EDR Reporting and Alpha Testing Update
The VIM Technologies software group has been busy since late 2005 designing and testing the CEMLink 5 XML module.  All VIM Technologies Alpha test participants can expect to receive their upgrade by the week of April 17th.

Have you heard about the proposed new Mercury Reference Method?
Mercury Update
EPA is considering minor changes to the CAMR monitoring provisions.  One of the changes being considered is to add Method 29 as reference methods in CAMR.  This method is similar to the OH, but more familiar to testers.  Method 29 does not speciate Hg and uses fewer impingers which reduces the chances for error.  If included, Method 29 could be used for RATAs, low mass emitter testing, and stack testing.

Are you a PADEP source? Are you aware that a Rev 8 to the CSMM is imminent?
PADEP Source Monitoring Manual Rev 8 is finalized
The State of Pennsylvania is officially moving forward Revision 8 of the Continuous Source Monitoring Manual.  These involve major changes to the method by which sources monitoring, certify and report emissions data to PADEP.  This revision is by far the most dramatic in that the agency will implement EDR type electronic reporting and have attempted to harmonize Part 60 & 75 requirements.
