EtO Commercial Sterilizer NESHAP: Understanding the Monitoring and Reporting Requirements for Regulatory Compliance
Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2024 (2:00 PM-2:450 PM ET)
Audience: Prospective Customers; Existing Customers
Skill Level: All
On April 5, 2024, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published the much-anticipated National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Ethylene Oxide (EtO) Commercial Sterilization Facilities in the Federal Register. Per NESHAP requirements, facilities with EtO use of at least 100 pounds per year must install EtO Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) as soon as April 6, 2026, and begin electronic reporting soon after that. As a result, these new regulations require a turnkey monitoring approach that goes beyond the monitoring technology and must include a robust reporting solution that addresses all aspects of the NESHAP.
The webinar will discuss the NESHAP monitoring requirements and how CleanAir’s EtO CEMS, the MET-44, addresses these requirements through a unique combination of innovative technical and reporting solutions. This includes the MET-44’s seamless integration with VIM Technologies, Inc. CEMLink6, the industry-leading data acquisition and compliance reporting tool. This webinar will showcase the advantages and possibilities this system design delivers to the industry for continued compliance assurance with the NESHAP’s CEMS operational, audit, performance test, and reporting requirements.
