2022 CEMS Academy Training Recap!

Training That Keeps You Engaged: The CEMS Academy Focuses on Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEMS)

The most recent CEMS Academy training session was held in Austin, TX, on October 26 & 27. The event kicked off with registration and a Meet & Greet on the first day. October 27 was a full day of comprehensive CEMS Academy Training for all participants.  Attendees were thrilled to get together on the gorgeous 431-acre University of Texas Campus in the Commons Conference Center. The lovely location was a great added benefit to two exciting days of networking and training.

The CEMS Academy offers technical training for everyone in the plant who touches air compliance, including CEMS techs, environmental engineers, maintenance supervisors, and others. These trainings aim to engage all participants in an interactive, engaging way to learn the material most important to you and your organization. Topics include the significance of continuous emissions monitoring training, updates on various regulations, who is impacted by changes to the industry, and innovative approaches to compliance. Several training events per year are hosted in different venues across the United States. The CEMS Academy is instructed and sponsored by VIM Technologies, Air Hygiene, Inc., Universal Analyzers, and STI CEMS.

VIM extends its thanks to the 23 attendees from companies including Power Plant Energy, Steel Dynamics, Kiewit, Allegiance Refining, RedBall Oxygen, Capitol Aggregates, LCRA, Airgas & San Miguel Electric Cooperative. Their participation and support are greatly appreciated. We truly look forward to seeing everyone at our next training in January.
